Sri Ramanavami Festival , Ramanathapura - 27/3/10

This is a quaint village situated on the banks of river Cauvery, and about two hrs drive from Mysore.

There is a beautiful Rama Temple where the concerts were held and the atmosphere was very festive.

'Quaint' is a nice sounding word that often gets underused :) can more so relate to it now that I am reading (am trying to read rather:)) Enchantress of Florence, where quaintness is the all pervasive theme apparently :)
