Dear Mrs.Gayathri,

Me and my daughter attended your concert at the ratnagirishwarar temple yesterday, and we enjoyed your singing thoroughly, especially the alapana in sankarabharanam, and the vazhi maraithirukkudhe in nattakurinji.

Kudos to you, and we like to hear more of such great concerts from you.

Cheers,
lakshmi

Ah Akshayalinga Vibho..Not many sing this dikshitar master piece these days...Nice to see you sing this..Amazing concert just like the beautiful akshyalinga swami temple in kezhvelur in Nagapattinam district

Yeah, Akshayalinga Vibho is a beautiful song ...so is " nambikettavar evarayyA" ....what wonderful lyrics ...a standing testimony to Sri Papanasam Sivam's mastery in tamil ( apart from his eloquence in Sanskrit evident in "Sri Valli Devasenapathe") ...... best of all,it is understandable to one and all ( as it is in Tamil ) and gives a warning bell to bow to God, before its too late ... i think this song is sung much less than what it deserves ..

Gayathri, could you post the lyrics of the song here ?

Thank you,
Sankar

Hi Sankar,

Indeed, lyrics of "nambikettavar evarayya" are very touching, and each time I sing it, especially the charanam, it strikes a chord somewhere deep within me and it is to be "experienced" from within. ..Beautiful song..
Shall post the lyrics here later today.
