Rathnagirishwarar Temple-12/2/12

This is one of my favourite concert venues.

Shivarathri celebrations are very grand at this temple.

Yeah, I know you are a localite, it is your favourite venue and (thus) you strive to present even an ordinary number better. It fell on a sunday evening and so there was no chance I could afford to miss it.

The accompanists need special mention here. The way BUG started off in sync from the first note in 'karpagambige'- a rare gem, brought smiles... It is a treat to have poongulam play for you and Sreesundarkumar stood up to the task with fondness.

The list includes some 'on the spot requests' too. The way the whole concert was rendered, it was not an ordinary temple concert with respect to quality. It was indeed a con of high order and the thickly populated audience till the end stood testimony to it.

Personally, I thoroughly enjoyed it

Finally purchased your "Sri Valli Devasenapathe" performance from Amazon.

Something I had been wanting to do for more than 10 - 12 years now !
