ஸ்ரீநிவாச பெருமாள் இங்கு எழுந்தருளுவதற்கு முன்பே வராக மூர்த்தியாக எழுந்தருளி காட்சி தந்தருளினார். தற்போது இங்குள்ள ஸ்வாமி புஷ்கரணீக்கு அருகில் அமர்ந்துள்ள ஆதி வராகரைச் சேவித்த பின்பே ஸ்ரீநிவாசனை சேவிக்கச் செல்லவேண்டும் என்பது நியதி.

(Before appearing as Srinivasa Perumal,the Lord is said to have blessed his devotees as Adi varAha mUrthy. The AdivarAha swAmy deity is located next to the Swami Pushkarani tank in Tirumala.Devotees first pray to this deity before proceeding to the main temple at Tirumala.)

ஸ்ரீ ராமானுஜர் திருப்பதியில் இருந்தபோது அலிபிரி என்றழைக்கப்படும் திருமலை அடிவாரத்தில் அமர்ந்து ராமாயண விரிவுரை நடத்துவது வழக்கம். அவரது மாமனான திருமலைநம்பி அடிவாரத்திலிருந்து தண்ணீர் குடம் சுமந்து மலையேறி மலையப்பருக்கு காலை பூஜைகளை செய்துவிட்டு கீழே இறங்கி அடிவாரத்திற்கு வந்து இராமானுஜரின் ராமாயண கதையை கேட்பார். ஒரு நாள் அச்சுதன் அவதார மஹிமையில் ஆழ்ந்து அப்படியே அனைத்தையும் மறந்து போனார். உச்சி்கால பூஜை தவறியதை உணர்ந்து வருத்தப்பட்டார். குற்ற உணர்ச்சியில் புலம்பினார். வேங்கடாசலபதி அடிவாரத்தில் அவர் முன் காட்சி அளித்து இனி உச்சிகால பூஜையை அடிவாரத்திலேயே செய்யலாமென்று கூறினார். வேங்கடாசலபதி நின்று தரிசனம் தந்த இடத்தில் கல்லில் இரண்டு பாதங்கள் காட்சி அளித்தன. திருமலை வேங்கடாசலபதியை தரிசிக்க வருபவர்கள் ஆழ்வார் தீர்த்தத்தில் நீராடிவிட்டுஅடுத்து வந்தடைவது அலிபிரி என்னும் மலை அடிவாரம்.

(Sri Raamaanujar used to give Ramayana discourses at the foot of the Tirumala Hills. His uncle Tirumalainambi, used to take water to the temple on top of the hill for daily Puja.One day, getting totally engrossed in the Ramayana discourse,Tirumalai Nambi forgot to take water for the Puja. He felt very bad on realizing his mistake. Immediatley, the Lord gave him Darshan and said he could worship Him at the foot of the hill itself. At this spot, one can see two feet. This is at the place called Alipiri, at the foot of the Tirumala Hills.)

















அதன்பின் நடந்து மலையேறுபவர்களுக்கான பாதை தொடங்குகிறது. அதை கடந்தால் ஸ்ரீபாத மண்டபம்.

திருமலை ஏறியவுடன் இடது பக்கத்தில் 'Hill View' என்று அம்புகுறியிட்டு மலை முகட்டிற்கு செல்லும் வழி உள்ளது. சங்கு, சக்ர,நாம அமைப்பில் அருகில் நின்று பார்த்தால் திருமலை அற்புதமாக தெரியும்.

(As one reaches the top of the Hills, from the 'Hill View' point, one can see the entire Tirumala. A beautiful sight,indeed !)

வாகனங்களில் மலையேருபவர்களை முதலில் வரவேற்பது வழித்துணை விநாயகர்.
(As the journey uphill starts on the roads, one can see the vinAyaka deity.)

நடந்து மலை ஏறுபவர்கள் ஆஞ்சனேயரின் திருவுருவத்தைக் காணலாம்.
