Good use of modulation, brighas in Aadadhu...'Mayil peeli asaindhu asaindhu', 'Azhaga' were emoted so beautifully.
Thought, you may sing 'Chittam Irangadhadhu' by Sivan but 'thanigai malaiyai charenum' was melodic to the core and I felt that there was no need for any percussion accopmaniment throughout the sahityam portion.
Percussion's Sync was missing in eduppu, in Andaranga.., but remaining protions were magical.
A Carnatic opera - padham in Maanji was the highlight of the evening, I would say.
Saveri was so elobarate, that the audience were totally lost in the soothing sync of voice and the violin. Sivan had addressed all the deities of kanchi in this composition. On listening to this piece, it felt like achieving 'kanchipuram poi vandha punniyam'
Finally, it was equivalent to attending 5,6 concerts in a row and surfing for tamil songs out of them (Luchy to attend your concert in a Isai Tamil Vizha)
Hi Gayathri,
I had posted a comment. just surprised that my comment did not get posted here. anyway, my mother who attended the concert liked the mAnji and SahanA. she is looking forward to attend more concert of yours. good luck to you.
